Raising money for great causes
Throughout Neve’s illness, we saw, again and again, the NHS and health and social care at its best. All children and families should have access to the care and compassion that they need, when they need it. Fundraising is one way of making a small difference, to the organisations, the professionals and the other children and families.
Current fundraising
Raising funds to buy the Oxfordshire Children’s Community Nursing (CCN) Team a cool blanket and a cool cot. Aiming to raise at least £9,000 for the Oxford Health Charity, in Neve’s memory.
Previous fundraising
In 2021, I ran the Oxford Half Marathon, as part of Neve’s Team. Together, we raised over £19,000 for Helen & Douglas House.
In 2020, I ran 8km to mark Neve’s 8th birthday, as part of Team Neve. Together, the team raised over £11,000 for the Oxford Hospitals Charity. This funding allowed the Children’s Hospital to buy a vein finder for the Paediatric Oncology Ward.
